טֵבֵת

We are God's making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions (Ephesians 2:10).

Do you like poetry? No? You may want to reconsider because poetry is very relevant to your life according to the Word of God. In the above Scripture, it is written, "We are God's making." In the Greek, it reads, "For we are his poiayma," from which we get the English word "poem." God is a poet, and you, if you've been born again, are his poem.

Sometimes we get very caught up in our works.Works are vital to a healthy walk, but if that's all we focus on, we miss the point. We are actually God's good work! In fact, we are his poem. God creates only works of beauty and works of grace. When we go our own way, or when we try God's way in our own strength and effort, life becomes a struggle, without rhyme or reason. But when we yield to the flowing and filling of his Ruach (Spirit), life becomes what it's supposed to be—a poem, written by the finger of God, perfect in rhyme and reason, styled with sweetness and grace, with appropriately placed rests and carrying a beautiful message.

If we follow the Ruach (Spirit) of the poet, our lives will actually become poems of God.

...think of one way I can yield my life to God as his poem.
