And it happened, the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

Son of man, set your face towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.

And say, Mountains of Israel, hear the Word of the Lord Jehovah: So says the Lord Jehovah to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, Behold, I, even I will bringa sword on you, and I will destroy your highplaces.

And your altars shall be ruined, and your pillars shall be broken. And I will cast down your slain before your idols.

And I will put the dead bodies of the sons of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars.

In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be deserted, so that your altars may be laid waste and become guilty, and that your idols may be brokenand brought to an end, and your pillars maybe cut down, and your works wiped out.

And the slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.
