So afterward Joshua struck them and put them to death, and he (C1)hanged them on five (F1)trees; and they were hung on the (F1)trees until evening.

Then it came about at (F1)sunset that Joshua gave the command, and (C1)they took them down from the (F2)trees and threw them into the cave where they had hidden themselves, and put large stones over the mouth of the cave, to this very day.
