1: συγγένεια

(Strong's #4772 — Noun Feminine — sungeneia — soong-ghen'-i-ah )

primarily denotes "kinship;" then, "kinsfolk, kindred" (cp. sungenes, "a kinsman;" see KIN), Luke 1:61; Acts 7:3,14 .

2: γένος

(Strong's #1085 — Noun Neuter — genos — ghen'-os )

see KIND (Noun), No. 1.

Notes: (1) Phule, "a tribe," rendered "kindreds" in the AV of Revelation 1:7; 7:9; 11:9; 13:7 , "kindred" in Revelation 5:9; 14:6 , and elsewhere, "tribe," "tribes," is always translated by the latter in the RV. See TRIBE. (2) For patria, rendered "kindreds" Acts 3:25 , AV, see FAMILY.
