is used (a) of "shearing sheep," Acts 8:32 , "shearer," lit., "the (one) shearing:" (b) in the Middle Voice, "to have one's hair cut off, be shorn," Acts 18:18; 1 Corinthians 11:6 (twice; cp. xurao, "to shave;" see above).
