(ssee' ih ruh) Place name meaning, “toward Seir.” Modern translations' reading for KJV Seirath (Judges 3:26 ). The name would seem to point to Mount Seir in Edom, but the context seems to make that location impossible. Otherwise, the location is not known. It must be a forested place in the tribal territory of Benjamin.
