Over the past several years, all of us as Canadians, and as members of the North American cultural and economic environment, have been to a greater or lesser extent party to a significant attitudinal change towards our culture.

The reason why I buy into the Democratic Party more than the Republican Party is because there are over 2,000 verses of Scripture that deal with responding to the needs of the poor.

I think the real place where most evangelicals have trouble with the Democratic Party is on the issue of abortion.

In short, our response as a party should be to work to solve the crises that produce crisis pregnancies, and work to make life worth living for mother and child, rather than victimize the child as a way of dealing with the crisis.

If our country is to reach a workable solution to the abortion issue, the Democratic party must be open to and tolerant of opposing views.

The Democratic Party will never desert the freedoms of our people under the guise of pretending to protect them.
