Sennacherib Threatens Jerusalem(a)

In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah's(b) reign, Sennacherib(c) king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.(d)

Jerusalem's Deliverance Foretold(a)

When King Hezekiah heard this, he tore his clothes(b) and put on sackcloth(c) and went into the temple(d) of the Lord .

Hezekiah's Illness(a)

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz(b) went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order,(c) because you are going to die; you will not recover."(d)

Envoys From Babylon(a)
