But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel;

Or was it from you that the word of God first went out? Or has it come to you only?

For we are not like the many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in trickery nor distorting the word of God, but by the open proclamation of the truth commending ourselves to every person's conscience in the sight of God.

By faith we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible.

Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their way of life, imitate their faith.
