Then Pharaoh Neco made (C1)Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the place of his father Josiah, and he (C2)changed his name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and (F1)(C3)brought him to Egypt, and he died there.

So Jehoiakim (C1)gave the silver and gold to Pharaoh, but he assessed the land in order to give the money at the (F1)command of Pharaoh. He collected the silver and gold from the people of the land, each according to his assessment, to give to Pharaoh Neco.
