^(c)Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth and forever.

^(d)From the rising of the sun to its setting The ^(e)name of the Lord is to be praised.

The Lord is ^(f)high above all nations; His ^(g)glory is above the heavens.

^(h)Who is like the Lord our God, Who ⁽ⁱ⁾is enthroned on high,

Who ^[c](j)humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

He ^(k)raises the poor from the dust And lifts the needy from the ash heap,

To make them ^(l)sit with ^[d]princes, With the ^[e]princes of His people.

He ^(m)makes the barren woman abide in the house As a joyful mother of children. ^[f]Praise ^[g]the Lord !

When Israel went forth ^(a)from Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of ^(b)strange language,

Judah became ^(c)His sanctuary, Israel, ^(d)His dominion.

The ^(e)sea looked and fled; The ^(f)Jordan turned back.

The mountains ^(g)skipped like rams, The hills, like lambs.

What ^(h)ails you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn back?

O mountains, that you skip like rams? O hills, like lambs?

⁽ⁱ⁾Tremble, O earth, before the Lord, Before the God of Jacob,

Who ^(j)turned the rock into a ^(k)pool of water, The ^(l)flint into a fountain of water.

^(a)Not to us, O Lord , not to us, But ^(b)to Your name give glory Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your ^[a]truth.

^(c)Why should the nations say, "^(d)Where, now, is their God?"

But our ^(e)God is in the heavens; He ^(f)does whatever He pleases.

Their ^(g)idols are silver and gold, The ^(h)work of man's hands.

They have mouths, but they ⁽ⁱ⁾cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see;

They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell;

^[b]They have hands, but they cannot feel; ^[c]They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with their throat.

^(j)Those who make them ^[d]will become like them, Everyone who trusts in them.

O ^(k)Israel, ^(l)trust in the Lord ; He is their ^(m)help and their shield.

O house of ⁽ⁿ⁾Aaron, trust in the Lord ; He is their help and their shield.

You who ^[e](o)fear the Lord , trust in the Lord ; He is their help and their shield.

The Lord ^(p)has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

He will ^(q)bless those who ^[f]fear the Lord , ^(r)The small together with the great.

May the Lord ^(s)give you increase, You and your children.

May you be blessed of the Lord , ^(t)Maker of heaven and earth.

The heavens are ^(u)the heavens of the Lord , But ^(v)the earth He has given to the sons of men.

The ^(w)dead do not praise ^[g]the Lord , Nor do any who go down into ^(x)silence;

But as for us, we will ^(y)bless ^[h]the Lord From this time forth and forever. ^[i]Praise ^[j]the Lord !
