They have mouths, but they do not speak; They have eyes, but they do not see;

And ^(r)made Israel pass through the midst of it, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;

But ^(s)He ^[h]overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the ^[i]Red Sea, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

To Him who ^(t)led His people through the wilderness, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;

To Him who ^(u)smote great kings, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

And ^(v)slew ^[j]mighty kings, For His lovingkindness is everlasting:

^(w)Sihon, king of the Amorites, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

And ^(x)Og, king of Bashan, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

And ^(y)gave their land as a heritage, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

Even a heritage to Israel His ^(z)servant, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Who ^(aa)remembered us in our low estate, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,

And has ^(ab)rescued us from our adversaries, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;

Who ^(ac)gives food to all flesh, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Give thanks to the ^(ad)God of heaven, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

By the ^(a)rivers of Babylon, There we sat down and ^(b)wept, When we remembered Zion.

Upon the ^[a](c)willows in the midst of it We ^(d)hung our ^[b]harps.

For there our captors ^[c](e)demanded of us ^[d]songs, And ^(f)our tormentors mirth, saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion."

How can we sing ^(g)the Lord's song In a foreign land?

If I ^(h)forget you, O Jerusalem, May my right hand ^[e]forget her skill.

May my ⁽ⁱ⁾tongue cling to the roof of my mouth If I do not remember you, If I do not ^[f](j)exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy.

Remember, O Lord , against the sons of ^(k)Edom The day of Jerusalem, Who said, "Raze it, raze it ^(l)To its very foundation."

O daughter of Babylon, you ^[g](m)devastated one, How blessed will be the one who ⁽ⁿ⁾repays you With ^[h]the recompense with which you have repaid us.

How blessed will be the one who seizes and ^(o)dashes your little ones Against the rock.

^(a)I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to You before the ^(b)gods.

I will bow down ^(c)toward Your holy temple And ^(d)give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your ^[a]truth; For You have ^(e)magnified Your ^[b]word ^[c]according to all Your name.

On the day I ^(f)called, You answered me; You made me bold with ^(g)strength in my soul.
