If ^(ac)the Lord had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.

If I should say, "^(ad)My foot has slipped," Your lovingkindness, O Lord , will hold me up.

When my anxious thoughts ^[n]multiply within me, Your ^(ae)consolations delight my soul.

Can a ^[o](af)throne of destruction be allied with You, One ^(ag)which devises ^[p]mischief by decree?

They ^(ah)band themselves together against the ^[q]life of the righteous And ^(ai)condemn ^[r]the innocent to death.

But the Lord has been my ^(aj)stronghold, And my God the ^(ak)rock of my refuge.

He has ^(al)brought back their wickedness upon them And will ^[s](am)destroy them in their evil; The Lord our God will ^[t]destroy them.

O come, let us ^(a)sing for joy to the Lord , Let us shout joyfully to ^(b)the rock of our salvation.

Let us ^(c)come before His presence ^(d)with ^[a]thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him ^(e)with ^[b]psalms.

For the Lord is a ^(f)great God And a great King ^(g)above all gods,

In whose hand are the ^(h)depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also.

^[c]The sea is His, for it was He ⁽ⁱ⁾who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us ^(j)worship and bow down, Let us ^(k)kneel before the Lord our ^(l)Maker.

For He is our God, And ^(m)we are the people of His ^[d](n)pasture and the sheep of His hand. ^(o)Today, ^[e]if you would hear His voice,

Do not harden your hearts, as at ^[f](p)Meribah, As in the day of ^[g](q)Massah in the wilderness,

"When your fathers ^(r)tested Me, They tried Me, though they had seen My work.

"For ^(s)forty years I loathed that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.

"Therefore I ^(t)swore in My anger, Truly they shall not enter into My ^(u)rest."

^(a)Sing to the Lord a ^(b)new song; Sing to the Lord , all the earth.

Sing to the Lord , bless His name; ^(c)Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

Tell of ^(d)His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

For ^(e)great is the Lord and ^(f)greatly to be praised; He is to be ^(g)feared ^(h)above all gods.

For ⁽ⁱ⁾all the gods of the peoples are ^[a]idols, But ^(j)the Lord made the heavens.

^(k)Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

^[b]Ascribe to the Lord , O ^(l)families of the peoples, ^[c](m)Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

^[d]Ascribe to the Lord the ⁽ⁿ⁾glory of His name; Bring an ^[e](o)offering and come into His courts.

^(p)Worship the Lord in ^[f]holy attire; ^(q)Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Say among the nations, "^(r)The Lord reigns; Indeed, the ^(s)world is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will ^(t)judge the peoples with ^[g]equity."

Let the ^(u)heavens be glad, and let the ^(v)earth rejoice; Let ^(w)the sea ^[h]roar, and ^[i]all it contains;

Let the ^(x)field exult, and all that is in it. Then all the ^(y)trees of the forest will sing for joy

Before the Lord , ^(z)for He is coming, For He is coming to judge the earth. ^(aa)He will judge the world in righteousness And the peoples in His faithfulness.

^(a)The Lord ^[a]reigns, let the ^(b)earth rejoice; Let the many ^[b](c)islands be glad.

^(d)Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; ^(e)Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

^(f)Fire goes before Him And ^(g)burns up His adversaries round about.

His ^(h)lightnings lit up the world; The earth saw and ⁽ⁱ⁾trembled.

The mountains ^(j)melted like wax at the presence of the Lord , At the presence of the ^(k)Lord of the whole earth.

The ^(l)heavens declare His righteousness, And ^(m)all the peoples have seen His glory.

Let all those be ashamed who serve ⁽ⁿ⁾graven images, Who boast themselves of ^(o)idols; ^[c](p)Worship Him, all you ^[d]gods.

Zion ^[e]heard this and ^(q)was glad, And the daughters of Judah have rejoiced Because of Your judgments, O Lord .

For You are the Lord ^(r)Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far ^(s)above all ^[f]gods.

^(t)Hate evil, you who love the Lord , Who ^(u)preserves the souls of His godly ones; He ^(v)delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

^(w)Light is sown like seed for the righteous And ^(x)gladness for the upright in heart.

Be ^(y)glad in the Lord , you righteous ones, And ^(z)give thanks ^[g]to His holy name.

A Psalm.

O sing to the Lord a ^(a)new song, For He has done ^(b)wonderful things, His ^(c)right hand and His ^(d)holy arm have ^[a]gained the victory for Him.

^(e)The Lord has made known His salvation; He has ^(f)revealed His ^[b]righteousness in the sight of the nations.

He has ^(g)remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; ^(h)All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
