Now the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan.
Genesis 9:18
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.
Genesis 9:19
These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
Then Noah began farming and planted a vineyard.
Genesis 9:20
And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
He drank some of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself inside his tent.
Genesis 9:21
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.
Genesis 9:22
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it on both their shoulders and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned away, so that they did not see their father's nakedness.
Genesis 9:23
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
When Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him.
Genesis 9:24
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
So he said, "Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers."
Genesis 9:25
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, The God of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant.
Genesis 9:26
And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
"May God enlarge Japheth, And may he live in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant."
Genesis 9:27
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Noah lived 350 years after the flood.
Genesis 9:28
And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
So all the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died.
Genesis 9:29
And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
