Proverbs 10:8
The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
One who is on the path of life follows instruction, But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray.
Proverbs 10:17
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
One who troubles his own house will inherit wind, And the foolish will be servant to the wise-hearted.
Proverbs 11:29
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
One who loves discipline loves knowledge, But one who hates rebuke is stupid.
Proverbs 12:1
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
A wise son accepts his father's discipline, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.
Proverbs 13:1
A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
Poverty and shame will come to one who neglects discipline, But one who complies with rebuke will be honored.
