Proverbs 15:27
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
A bribe is a charm in the sight of its owner; Wherever he turns, he prospers.
Proverbs 17:8
A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
A wicked person accepts a bribe from an inside pocket To pervert the ways of justice.
Proverbs 17:23
A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.
A person's gift makes room for him And brings him before great people.
