The highway of the upright is to turn away from evil; One who watches his way protects his life.
Proverbs 16:17
The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself, But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; One who guards himself will be far from them.
Proverbs 22:5
Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
