Due to a wrongdoing of a land its leaders are many, But by a person of understanding and knowledge, so it endures.
Proverbs 28:2
For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, But when the wicked rise, people hide themselves.
Proverbs 28:12
When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
Like a roaring lion and a rushing bear Is a wicked ruler over a poor people.
Proverbs 28:15
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
A leader who is a great oppressor lacks understanding, But a person who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.
Proverbs 28:16
The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
A person who is burdened with the guilt of human blood Will be a fugitive until death; no one is to support him!
Proverbs 28:17
A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
When the wicked rise, people hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase.
Proverbs 28:28
When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, But when a wicked person rules, people groan.
Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
The king gives stability to the land by justice, But a person who takes bribes ruins it.

The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
When the wicked increase, wrongdoing increases; But the righteous will see their downfall.

When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is one who keeps the Law.
