And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of discipline will remove it far from him.
Proverbs 22:15
Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
