I love the LORD, because He hears My voice and my pleas.
Psalms 116:1
I love the Lord , because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
Psalms 116:2
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
The snares of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.
Psalms 116:3
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Then I called upon the name of the LORD: "Please, LORD, save my life!"
Psalms 116:4
Then called I upon the name of the Lord ; O Lord , I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.
Psalms 116:5
Gracious is the Lord , and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
The LORD watches over the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
Psalms 116:6
The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Return to your rest, my soul, For the LORD has dealt generously with you.
Psalms 116:7
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from stumbling.
Psalms 116:8
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I shall walk before the LORD In the land of the living.
Psalms 116:9
I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
I believed when I said, "I am greatly afflicted."
Psalms 116:10
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my alarm, "All people are liars."
Psalms 116:11
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
What shall I repay to the LORD For all His benefits to me?
Psalms 116:12
What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD.
Psalms 116:13
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord .
I will pay my vows to the LORD; May it be in the presence of all His people!
Psalms 116:14
I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His godly ones.
Psalms 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
O LORD, I surely am Your slave, I am Your slave, the son of Your female slave, You have unfastened my restraints.
Psalms 116:16
O Lord , truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer You a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the LORD.
Psalms 116:17
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord .
I will pay my vows to the LORD, May it be in the presence of all His people,
Psalms 116:18
I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
In the courtyards of the LORD'S house, In the midst of you, Jerusalem! Praise the LORD!
Psalms 116:19
In the courts of the Lord 's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord .
