Passage Lookup: Romans 15:8-13

NASNew American Standard Bible
KJVKing James Version
For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises given to the fathers,
Romans 15:8
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
and for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy; as it is written: "THEREFORE I WILL GIVE PRAISE TO YOU AMONG THE GENTILES, AND I WILL SING PRAISES TO YOUR NAME."
Romans 15:9
And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
Again he says, "REJOICE, YOU GENTILES, WITH HIS PEOPLE."
Romans 15:10
And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
And again, "PRAISE THE LORD ALL YOU GENTILES, AND LET ALL THE PEOPLES PRAISE HIM."
Romans 15:11
And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
Again Isaiah says, "THERE SHALL COME THE ROOT OF JESSE, AND HE WHO ARISES TO RULE OVER THE GENTILES, IN HIM WILL THE GENTILES HOPE."
Romans 15:12
And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
