Yet I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will deliver them-not by bow or sword or war, not by horses and cavalry, but by the LORD their God."

Israel's arrogance testifies against them, yet they do not return to the LORD their God; despite all this, they do not seek Him.

The prophet is Ephraim's watchman, along with my God, yet the snare of the fowler lies on all his paths. Hostility is in the house of his God!

Yet I am the LORD your God ever since the land of Egypt; you know no God but Me, for there is no Savior besides Me.

"Yet even now," declares the LORD, "return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning."

For I will acquit their bloodguilt which I have not yet acquitted." For the LORD dwells in Zion.

Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like that of the cedars, and he was as strong as the oaks. Yet I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below.

"I beset all your cities with cleanness of teeth and all your towns with lack of bread, yet you did not return to Me," declares the LORD.

People staggered from city to city for water to drink, but they were not satisfied; yet you have not returned to Me," declares the LORD.

"I struck you with blight and mildew in your growing gardens and vineyards; the locust devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you did not return to Me," declares the LORD.

"I sent plagues among you like those of Egypt; I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camp, yet you did not return to Me," declares the LORD.

"Some of you I overthrew as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze, yet you did not return to Me," declares the LORD.

Surely the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. Yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob," declares the LORD.

At this, I said, 'I have been banished from Your sight; yet I will look once more toward Your holy temple.'

Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets practice divination for money. Yet they lean upon the LORD, saying, "Is not the LORD among us? No disaster can come upon us."

Though each of the peoples may walk in the name of his god, yet we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.

This is what the LORD says: "Though they are allied and numerous, yet they will be cut down and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, O Judah, I will afflict you no longer.

Yet she became an exile; she went into captivity. Her infants were dashed to pieces at the head of every street. They cast lots for her dignitaries, and all her nobles were bound in chains.

Woe to him who says to wood, 'Awaken!' or to silent stone, 'Come alive!' Can it give guidance? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet there is no breath in it at all.
