I was mute, I did not open my mouth; Because you did it.

By this I know that you delight in me, Because my enemy does not triumph over me.

I will say to God my rock, Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For you are the God of my strength; why have you cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, Neither did their own arm save them; But your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your countenance, Because you were favorable to them.

And in your majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: And your right hand shall teach you awesome things.

Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments.

I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it; and proclaim your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints.

There they were in great fear, where no fear was; For God has scattered the bones of him that encamps against you: You have put [them] to shame, because God has rejected them.

Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they cast iniquity on me, And in anger they persecute me.

You have given a banner to those that fear you, That it may be displayed because of the bow. Selah.

Moab is my washpot; On Edom I will cast my shoe: Philistia, shout because of me.

Because your loving-kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise you.

Because of your temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents to you.

Because for your sake I have borne reproach; Shame has covered my face.

Draw near to my soul, and redeem it: Ransom me because of my enemies.

Because they did not believe in God, And did not trust in his salvation.

Show me a token for good, That those who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.

Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced, Because of your judgments, O Yahweh.
