What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom the promise has been made; [and it was] directed through angels by the hand of a mediator.

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart;

Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.

redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

because we are members of his body.

even as it is right for me to be thus minded on behalf of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.

because to you it has been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

since he longed after you all, and was very troubled, because you had heard that he was sick:

because for the work of Christ he came near to death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your ministry toward me.

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

even so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because you became very dear to us.

because we wanted to come to you, I Paul once and again; and Satan hindered us.

that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.

when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at in all those that believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day.

and with all deceit of unrighteousness for those that perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

not because we don't have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: nevertheless I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;

For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.
