The third angel sounded, and a great star (C1)fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a (C2)third of the rivers and on the (C3)springs of waters.

The star is named Wormwood; and a (C1)third of the waters became (C2)wormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.

The fourth angel sounded, and a (C1)third of the (C2)sun, a third of the (C2)moon, and a (C1)third of the (C2)stars were struck, so that a (C1)third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a (C1)third of it, and the night in the same way.
