(C1)Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

Then he said to them, "Listen to me, you Levites. (C1)Consecrate yourselves now, and consecrate the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the uncleanness out of the holy place.

They assembled their brothers, (C1)consecrated themselves, and went in (C2)to cleanse the house of the LORD, according to the commandment of the king (C3)by the words of the LORD.

Moreover, King Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David and Asaph the seer. (C1)So they sang praises with joy, and bowed down and worshiped.

Then Hezekiah said, "(C1)Now that you have (F1)consecrated yourselves to the LORD, come forward and bring sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings to the house of the LORD." So the assembly brought sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings, and (C2)everyone who was (F2)willing brought burnt offerings.
