"to suffer evil," is translated "suffer hardship" in three places in the RV, 2 Timothy 2:3 (in some mss.; see No. 2), AV, "endure hardness;" 2 Timothy 2:9 , AV, "suffer trouble;" 2 Timothy 4:5 , AV, "endure affliction;" in James 5:13 , RV, "suffering" (AV, "afflicted").
