אַכְזִיב (i.q. אַכְזָב), [Achzib], pr.n.
(1) of a town on the sea coast in the tribe of Asher, situated between Acco and Tyre, called by the Greeks Ecdippa, now Dsib; Joshua 19:29; Judges 1:31.
(2) of a town in the tribe of Judah, Joshua 15:44; Micah 1:14 comp. כְּזִיב and כֹּזֵבָה.
