And this man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to Yahweh of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to Yahweh, were there.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O Yahweh of hosts, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your slave, and remember me, and not forget your slave, but will give to your slave a man-child, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.

So the people sent to Shiloh; and they brought from there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh of hosts, who sits [above] the cherubim: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, I have remembered that which Amalek did to Israel, how he set himself against him in the way, when he came up out of Egypt.

Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him, from Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name, even the name of Yahweh of hosts that sits [above] the cherubim.

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh of hosts.

Now therefore thus you shall say to my slave David, Thus says Yahweh of hosts, I took you from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that you should be leader over my people, over Israel;

And let your name be magnified forever, saying, Yahweh of hosts is God over Israel; and the house of your slave David shall be established before you.

For you, O Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed to your slave, saying, I will build you a house: therefore has your slave found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.

And Elijah said, As Yahweh of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.

And Elisha said, As Yahweh of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward you, nor see you.

And David waxed greater and greater; for Yahweh of hosts was with him.

Now therefore thus you shall say to my slave David, Thus says Yahweh of hosts, I took you from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that you should be leader over my people Israel:

And let your name be established and magnified forever, saying, Yahweh of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and the house of David your slave is established before you.

Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

As we have heard, so we have seen In the city of Yahweh of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah.

Don't let those that wait for you be put to shame through me, O Lord Yahweh of hosts: Don't let those that seek you be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.
