And he came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

And Jesus said to him, Friend, [do] that for which you have come. Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

Then Jesus says to him, Put up again your sword into its place: for all those that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

And after a little while those that stood by came and said to Peter, Of a truth you also are [one] of them; for your speech makes you known.

and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

For he knew that for envy they had delivered him up.

And while he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

He trusts on God; let him deliver [him] now, if he desires him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

this man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded it to be given up.

And look, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat on it.

and for fear of him the watchers quaked, and became as dead men.

And the angel answered and said to the women, Don't be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where he was lying.

And passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishers.

And they were astonished at his teaching: For he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.

And he says to them, Let us go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for to this end I came forth.

and says to him, See [that] you say nothing to any man: but go show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room [for them], no, not even about the door: and he spoke the word to them.

And it comes to pass, that he was sitting at meat in his house, and many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
