And they gave lots for them; and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

For these are not drunk, as you suppose; seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.

For David did not ascend into the heavens: but he says himself, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand,

For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are far off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call to him.

and they took knowledge of him, that it was he that sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him.

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a man [who was] a murderer to be granted to you,

so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ who has been appointed for you, [even] Jesus:

And they laid hands on them, and put them in ward to the next day: for it was now evening.

And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.

saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle has happened through them, is manifest to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we can't deny it.

for we cannot but speak the things which we saw and heard.

And they, when they had further threatened them, let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people; for all men glorified God for that which was done.

For the man was more than forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing happened.

For of a truth in this city against your holy Son Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,

For neither was there among them any that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And Peter answered to her, Tell me whether you sold the land for so much. And she said, Yes, for so much.

Then the captain went with the attendants, and brought them, [but] without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.

For before these days rose up Theudas, giving himself out to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed, and came to nothing.

And now I say to you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown:
