You call me, our Teacher and our Lord; and what you say is well, for I am.

For I have given you this as an example, so that just as I have done to you, you should also do.

I do not say this concerning all of you, for I know those whom I have chosen; but that the scripture might be fulfilled, He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

By this every man shall know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.

Simon Peter said to him, My Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will even lay down my life for you.

Jesus said to him, Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, The cock shall not crow, until you have denied me three times.

In my Father''s house there are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and take you to me, so that where I am, you may be also.

Philip said to him, Our Lord, show us the Father, and that is enough for us.

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do it for you, so that the Father may be glorified through his Son.

And I will ask of my Father, and he will give you another Comforter, to be with you for ever;

I will not leave you orphans, for I will come to you after a little while.

You heard that I told you, I am going away, and I will come to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice because I am going to my Father; for my Father is greater than I.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you; for the prince of this world comes; and yet he has nothing against me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains with me and I with him, will bear abundant fruit; for without me you can do nothing.

If you remain with me, and my words remain with you, whatever you ask shall be done for you.

There is no greater love than this, when a man lays down his life for the sake of his friends.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but you are not of the world, for I have chosen you out of the world; this is why the world hates you.
