And from there they asked for a king. And God gave Saul the son of Kish to them, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.

For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, not having known this One, and the voices of the prophets being read throughout every sabbath, condemning Him , they fulfilled the Scriptures .

who appeared for many days to those coming up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are witnesses of Him to the people.

For having served his own generation by the counsel of God, David truly fell asleep and was added to his fathers and saw corruption. 1 Kg. 2:10

And it happened in Iconium, they went in together into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke so as for a huge multitude of both Jews and Greeks to believe.

And having handpicked elders for them in every assembly, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord into whom they had believed.

and from there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

Simon recounted how even as at first God oversaw to take a people out from among the nations for His name.

For this reason I judge not to trouble those from the nations turning to God,

For in every city from ancient generations Moses has those proclaiming him, having been read in the synagogues on every sabbath.

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to put not one greater burden on you than these necessary things:

And continuing for a time, they were let go with peace from the brothers to the apostles.

Paul desired this one to go forth with him, and taking him he circumcised him, because of the Jews being in those places. For they all knew his father, that he was a Greek.

And on the day of the sabbaths, we went outside the city beside a river, where it was customary for prayer to be made . And sitting down, we spoke to the women who came together there .

and announce customs which it is not lawful for us to receive, nor to do, being Romans.

But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, Do no harm to yourself! For we are all here.

And asking for lights, he rushed in. And becoming trembly, he fell before Paul and Silas.
