in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so you also do.

and if it is meet for me to go also, they shall go with me.

But I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia;

For I do not wish to see you now by the way; for I hope to tarry awhile with you, if the Lord permits.

for a great and effectual door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear; for he works the work of the Lord, as I also do:

let no man therefore despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me: for I expect him with the brothers.

And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they supplied.

For they refreshed my spirit and yours: acknowledge therefore those that are such.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.

But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which works in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:

and our hope for you is steadfast; knowing that, as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also are you of the comfort.

For we would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning our affliction which befell [us] in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, insomuch that we despaired even of life:

you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed on us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.

For our glorifying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity of God, and not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

For we write no other things to you, than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end:

For God's Son, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but in him is yes.

For however many are the promises of God, in him is the yes: therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us.
