but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone; for I am perplexed about you.

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman, and one by the free woman.

Which things contain an allegory: for these [women] are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children to slavery, which is Hagar.

Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answers to the Jerusalem that now is: for she works as a slave along with her children.

For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that do not bear; Break forth and cry, you that do not travail: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that has the husband.

Nevertheless what does the scripture say? Cast out the slave woman and her son: for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.

For freedom Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and don't be entangled again in a yoke of slavery.

For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

For you, brothers, were called for freedom; only [do] not [use] your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love serve as slaves to one another.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that you may not do the things that you want.

For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

For each man shall bear his own load.

Don't be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.

For he that sows to his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.

And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.

As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
