After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews [fn] sought to kill Him.

When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.

Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee?

They answered and said to him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen [fn] out of Galilee."

Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."

Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed.

Then the churches [fn] throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:

He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.
