They said to him, "No, my lord, but your servants have come to buy food.

He said to them, "No, but you have come to see the nakedness of the land."

If you are honest men, then let one of your brothers be bound in your prison-house; but you go, carry grain for the famine of your houses.

Bring your youngest brother to me. Then will I know that you are not spies, but that you are honest men. So will I deliver you your brother, and you shall trade in the land.'"

but if you will not send him, we will not go down, for the man said to us, 'You shall not see my face, unless your brother is with you.'"

He sent portions to them from before him, but Binyamin's portion was five times as much as any of theirs. They drank, and were merry with him.

He said, "Far be it from me that I should do so. The man in whose hand the cup is found, he will be my bondservant; but as for you, go up in shalom to your father."

So now it wasn't you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Par`oh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Mitzrayim.

To all of them he gave each man changes of clothing, but to Binyamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.

The sons of Yehudah: `Er, Onan, Shelach, Peretz, and Zerach; but `Er and Onan died in the land of Kana`an. The sons of Peretz were Hetzron and Hamul.

When that year was ended, they came to him the second year, and said to him, "We will not hide from my lord how our money is all spent, and the herds of cattle are my lord's. There is nothing left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands.

but when I sleep with my fathers, you shall carry me out of Mitzrayim, and bury me in their burying place." He said, "I will do as you have said."

Yisra'el said to Yosef, "Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you, and bring you again to the land of your fathers.

"Gad, a troop will press on him; But he will press on their heel.

But his bow abode in strength, The arms of his hands were made strong, By the hands of the Mighty One of Ya`akov, (From there is the shepherd, the stone of Yisra'el),

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Yosef said to his brothers, "I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov."

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread out. They were grieved because of the children of Yisra'el.

and he said, "When you perform the duty of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them on the birth stool; if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."

But the midwives feared God, and didn't do what the king of Mitzrayim commanded them, but saved the baby boys alive.
