When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth.(x) Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean.

Purification After Childbirth

The Lord said to Moses,

"Say to the Israelites: ‘A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period.(a)
