The ^(ad)righteous ^[u]has enough to satisfy his appetite, But the stomach of the ^(ae)wicked is in need.

The ^(a)wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands.

Will they not go astray who ^(w)devise evil? But kindness and truth will be to those who devise good.

In all labor there is profit, But ^[l]mere talk leads only to poverty.

The ^(x)crown of the wise is their riches, But the folly of fools is foolishness.

A truthful witness saves lives, But he who ^[m](y)utters lies is ^[n]treacherous.

In the ^[o](z)fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And ^[p]his children will have refuge.

The ^[q]fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

In a multitude of people is a king's glory, But in the dearth of people is a prince's ruin.

A ^(m)joyful heart makes a ^[i]cheerful face, But ^[j]when the heart is ⁽ⁿ⁾sad, the ^(o)spirit is broken.

The ^(p)mind of the intelligent seeks knowledge, But the mouth of fools feeds on folly.

All the days of the afflicted are bad, But a ^[k]cheerful heart has a continual feast.

^(q)Better is a little with the ^[l]fear of the Lord Than great treasure and turmoil with it.

Evil plans are an abomination to the Lord , But pleasant words are pure.

He who ^(af)profits illicitly troubles his own house, But he who ^(ag)hates bribes will live.

The heart of the righteous ^(ah)ponders how to answer, But the ^(ai)mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

The Lord is ^(aj)far from the wicked, But He ^(ak)hears the prayer of the righteous.

^[s]Bright eyes gladden the heart; Good news puts fat on the bones.

He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof Will dwell among the wise.

He who ^(al)neglects discipline ^(am)despises himself, But he who ^(an)listens to reproof acquires ^[t]understanding.

The ^[u]fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, And before honor comes humility.
