^[a]Praise ^[b]the Lord ! I ^(a)will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, In the ^(b)company of the upright and in the assembly.

^(c)Great are the works of the Lord ; They are ^[c](d)studied by all who delight in them.

^[d](e)Splendid and majestic is His work, And ^(f)His righteousness endures forever.

He has made His ^[e]wonders ^[f]to be remembered; The Lord is ^(g)gracious and compassionate.

He has ^(h)given ^[g]food to those who ^[h]fear Him; He will ⁽ⁱ⁾remember His covenant forever.

He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.

The works of His hands are ^[i](j)truth and justice; All His precepts ^(k)are ^[j]sure.

They are ^(l)upheld forever and ever; They are performed in ^[k](m)truth and uprightness.

He has sent ⁽ⁿ⁾redemption to His people; He has ^[l]ordained His covenant forever; ^(o)Holy and ^[m]awesome is His name.

The ^[n](p)fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A ^(q)good understanding have all those who ^[o]do His commandments; His ^(r)praise endures forever.

^[a]Praise ^[b]the Lord ! How ^(a)blessed is the man who ^[c]fears the Lord , Who greatly ^(b)delights in His commandments.

His ^[d](c)descendants will be mighty ^[e]on earth; The generation of the ^(d)upright will be blessed.

^(e)Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.

Light arises in the darkness ^(f)for the upright; He is ^(g)gracious and compassionate and righteous.

It is well with the man who ^(h)is gracious and lends; He will ^[f]maintain his cause in judgment.

For he will ⁽ⁱ⁾never be shaken; The ^(j)righteous will be ^[g]remembered forever.

He will not fear ^(k)evil tidings; His ^(l)heart is steadfast, ^(m)trusting in the Lord .

His ⁽ⁿ⁾heart is upheld, he ^(o)will not fear, Until he ^(p)looks with satisfaction on his adversaries.

^[h]He ^(q)has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His ^(r)horn will be exalted in honor.

The ^(s)wicked will see it and be ^[i]vexed, He will ^(t)gnash his teeth and ^(u)melt away; The ^(v)desire of the wicked will perish.

^[a]Praise ^[b]the Lord ! ^(a)Praise, O ^(b)servants of the Lord , Praise the name of the Lord .

^(c)Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth and forever.

^(d)From the rising of the sun to its setting The ^(e)name of the Lord is to be praised.

The Lord is ^(f)high above all nations; His ^(g)glory is above the heavens.

^(h)Who is like the Lord our God, Who ⁽ⁱ⁾is enthroned on high,

Who ^[c](j)humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

He ^(k)raises the poor from the dust And lifts the needy from the ash heap,

To make them ^(l)sit with ^[d]princes, With the ^[e]princes of His people.

He ^(m)makes the barren woman abide in the house As a joyful mother of children. ^[f]Praise ^[g]the Lord !
