And Joseph found favor in his eyes, and he ministered to him: and he made him "Overseer of the House", and all that he had he put into his hand.

And it came to pass from the time that he made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that Yahweh blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of Yahweh was on all that he had, in the house and in the field.

And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer; and Judah the son of Hassenuah was second over the city.

Which having no chief, Overseer, or ruler,

Faithful is the saying, If a man seeks the office of overseer, he desires a good work.

The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

For the overseer must be blameless, as God's steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of monetary gain;

For you were going astray like sheep; but have now returned to the Shepherd and overseer of your souls.
