urging them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his friends would not be killed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

During the night, the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision, and he blessed the God of heaven

Daniel answered the king, "No wise man, medium, magician, or diviner can explain to the king the mystery of which he inquires.

And to me this mystery has been revealed, not because I have more wisdom than any man alive, but in order that the interpretation might be made known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.

The king said to Daniel, "Your God is truly the God of gods and Lord of kings, a revealer of mysteries, since you were able to reveal this mystery."

"O Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, because I know that you have a spirit of the holy gods and that no mystery baffles you, explain to me the visions that I saw in my dream, and the interpretation.

He replied, "The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside, everything is expressed in parables,

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

Now to Him who is able to strengthen you by my gospel and by the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery concealed for ages past,

This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

and to illuminate for everyone the stewardship of this mystery, which for ages past was hidden in God, who created all things.

This mystery is profound, but I am speaking about Christ and the church.

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, divine utterance may be given me, so that I will boldly make known the mystery of the gospel,

the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

that they may be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ,
