"In those days and at that time," declares the LORD, "the sons of Israel will come, they and the sons of Judah as well; they will go along weeping as they go, and it will be the LORD their God whom they will seek.
Jeremiah 50:4
In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord , the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their God.
"They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come so that they may join themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.
Jeremiah 50:5
They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
"My people have become lost sheep; Their shepherds have led them astray. They have made them turn aside on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill, They have forgotten their resting place.
Jeremiah 50:6
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
"All who found them have devoured them; And their adversaries have said, 'We are not guilty, Since they have sinned against the LORD who is the habitation of righteousness, The LORD, the hope of their fathers.'
Jeremiah 50:7
All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord , the habitation of justice, even the Lord , the hope of their fathers.
"Wander away from the midst of Babylon And go out from the land of the Chaldeans; Be like male goats at the head of the flock.
Jeremiah 50:8
Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
"For behold, I am going to rouse and bring up against Babylon A contingent of great nations from the land of the north, And they will draw up their battle lines against her; From there she will be taken captive. Their arrows will be like an expert warrior Who does not return empty-handed.
Jeremiah 50:9
For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.
"Chaldea will become plunder; All who plunder her will have enough," declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 50:10
And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord .
