Then Zophar the Naamathite responded,
Job 11:1
Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
"Shall a multitude of words go unanswered, And a talkative man be acquitted?
Job 11:2
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
"Shall your boasts silence people? And will you scoff, and no one rebuke?
Job 11:3
Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
"For you have said, 'My teaching is pure, And I am innocent in your eyes.'
Job 11:4
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
"But if only God would speak, And open His lips against you,
Job 11:5
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
And show you the secrets of wisdom! For sound wisdom has two sides. Know then that God forgets part of your guilt.
Job 11:6
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
