Passage Lookup: Job 27:1-6

NASNew American Standard Bible
KJVKing James Version
Job again took up his discourse and said,
Job 27:1
Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
"As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,
Job 27:2
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,
Job 27:3
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.
Job 27:4
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
"Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Until I die, I will not give up my integrity.
Job 27:5
God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
"I have kept hold of my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not rebuke any of my days.
Job 27:6
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
