Be perfect just like the Boss is.

When you're out there, give everyone this message, 'The kingdom of heaven and the Boss's perfect pastures are real close.'

Your words today will affect your outcome when you die. They will either get you turned out on perfect pastures or get you shipped off on the killer truck."

Jesus said to them, "Have you never read the Good Book where it says, 'The perfect calf has been rejected by the cowboys. The Lord has done this and it's amazin' to our eyes.'

He told all of 'em, "Y'all get out there and go to every pasture and every place on earth and tell 'em the good news. Tell 'em I've opened the gate to God's outfit and no one ever has to depend on themselves to be perfect, but that I've done it for them.

The Code was given in the Good Book, not for others, but us. The Code doesn't tell us how to be perfect, it shows us that we are not and cannot be.

God accepted Jesus's death on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for every cowboy's sin. The only way to be made right with God is to believe Jesus died for your sins. God showed he was being fair when he withheld the punishment for those in the past who had sinned.

The Code is only to show you that you can't be perfect and must depend on faith and trust in God to save you.

Since we have been made pards with God by Jesus's death, even though at the time we were not friends of God, we will most certainly be saved through his perfect life.

No one could follow the code of Moses. The Code couldn't save us because we are sinners by nature and unable to follow the Code no matter how hard we try. God did for us what the Code could not. He sent his son to live a perfect life for us and then be sacrificed as the last and final sin offering.

My answer is who do you think you are? You think you are better at making decisions than God? Should the created second-guess the creator who is perfect?

My conscience is clear. Now I ain't saying I'm perfect, but the One who will judge me is, and I trust him with my soul.

but when we are made perfect, these other things won't be needed.

God swapped his perfect son for our sorry ways so we could be right with him through what Jesus did for us.

But here's the part I don't understand, after getting into God's outfit by believing in Jesus, why are you now trying to be perfect by your own works?

If your ride was only about pleasing yourself, then you'll have an eternity to ride in death and decay. But those who only ride to please the Holy Ghost will have an eternity to ride in green pastures on perfect horses with ropes that ain't got a miss in 'em.

Even before God built the place we call home, he had chosen us to ride for his brand. By doing so, we became holy and in us he finds no fault. Not because we are perfect, but because he loves us.

Jesus did this so his outfit would be worthy of his love. He has made us without spot, wrinkle, or liver spot. His outfit will be perfect and without fault.

So we spread the good news. We warn people about the box canyon of sin and self-dependence as well as teach with wisdom that can only come from God. We want to present all people perfect before God. The only way this happens is through Christ.
