Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left his home, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children, or fields because of me and the gospel

who will not receive a hundred times as much here in this world - homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields, along with persecutions - as well as eternal life in the age to come.2 Chronicles 25:9; Luke 18:30;">[xr]

"Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no child, he should marry the widow and have children for his brother.Deuteronomy 25:5-6">[fn]Deuteronomy 25:5;">[xr]

There were seven brothers. The first one married and died without having children.

Then the second married her and died without having children, and so did the third.

None of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died, too.
