"If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.

Luke 15:1-7">[xr] "Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. [fn]

Again I say [fn] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?"

and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? Genesis 2:24">[fn]

And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, [fn] and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery."

For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it."

But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Mark 10:23-31; Luke 18:24-30">[xr] Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife [fn] or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.

"For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

But he answered one of them and said, "Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?

Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?'

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen." [fn]
