for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. And when he heard him, he was much perplexed; and he heard him gladly.

And the king was exceeding sorry; but for the sake of his oaths, and of those that sat to eat, he would not reject her.

And he says to them, You come yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

And seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he comes to them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them:

for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and says to them, Be of good cheer: it is I; don't be afraid.

for they didn't understand concerning the loaves, but their heart was hardened.

-For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands diligently, don't eat, holding the tradition of the elders;

For Moses said, Honor your father and your mother; and, He that speaks evil of father or mother, let him die the death:

you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother;

For from inside, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,

And he said to her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs.

And he said to her, For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.

And he looked up, and said, I see men; for I see [them] as trees, walking.

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and says, Get behind me, Satan; for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.

For whoever wants to save his life shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's shall save it.

For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?

For what should a man give in exchange for his life?

For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

And Peter answers and says to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

For he didn't know what to answer; for they became very afraid.
