Job claims that he is innocent, that God refuses to give him justice.

Have you ever seen anyone like this man Job? He never shows respect for God.

Job, have you confessed your sins to God and promised not to sin again?

that Job is speaking from ignorance and that nothing he says makes sense.

Think through everything that Job says; you will see that he talks like an evil man.

It is not right, Job, for you to say that you are innocent in God's sight, <

Job, you say you can't see God; but wait patiently—your case is before him.

Pause a moment, Job, and listen; consider the wonderful things God does.

Then out of the storm the Lord spoke to Job.

Job, have you ever in all your life commanded a day to dawn?

Was it you, Job, who made horses so strong and gave them their flowing manes?

Job, you challenged Almighty God; will you give up now, or will you answer?

Job I spoke foolishly, Lord . What can I answer? I will not try to say anything else. <

Then out of the storm the Lord spoke to Job once again.

Then Job answered the Lord .

Job I know, Lord , that you are all-powerful; that you can do everything you want.

After the Lord had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz, "I am angry with you and your two friends, because you did not speak the truth about me, the way my servant Job did.

Now take seven bulls and seven rams to Job and offer them as a sacrifice for yourselves. Job will pray for you, and I will answer his prayer and not disgrace you the way you deserve. You did not speak the truth about me as he did."

Then, after Job had prayed for his three friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had had before.

The Lord blessed the last part of Job's life even more than he had blessed the first. Job owned fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, two thousand head of cattle, and one thousand donkeys.
